larger than life, kyle, tom and jon dominate my living room. they are the first, though the walls beckon to befriend more. i’ve begun a new thing; an exciting and refreshing project. late into last year i started inviting local knoxville musicians over to my living room. amidst my books and chairs lives my booth. i built, three times over, a photo booth. it draws from a current greater than the one-ten it’s plugged into. it has become a place of record. the booth is a life of it’s own and serves my creativity of the moment. i am the booth and the booth is me. it allows my thoughts and yours to surface in a singular image. it’s a song and a dance. it is a moment and an eternity all in one. no i don’t worship it, but learn greatly from it. frustrating and rewarding, it’s work and pleasure all in one.
it simply is.
so ask if you want to know. play if you want to participate. rent if you want to partake. enjoy regardless. and stay posted to the blog for more in the coming year. i’m working on becoming more productive as my arts progress and better about sharing.
